Why from the air
Scaffolding or a cherry picker for a look at a roof runs into several hundred pounds and takes days to arrange. A drone inspection is booked for a morning, costs a fraction of that, and nobody climbs anything.
Our aircraft weigh under 250 g, so we can work close to a house in built-up streets where a larger drone has to keep its distance. We are a CAA-registered operator and carry public liability insurance.

Why fly twice
Before you agree a quote
A roofer says two hundred tiles need replacing. The images show how many there actually are, and where. It is hard to argue with a photograph taken from directly above.
When the work is finished
You are not going up a ladder to check what you paid for. From the air it takes ten minutes. And knowing a second flight is booked tends to keep everyone honest from the start.
After a storm
Compare against the earlier flight instead of guessing which slipped tile is new and which has been like that for years. Useful when an insurer asks what changed.
Year on year
Moss spreads, a hairline crack opens, flashing lifts at one corner. Two sets of images twelve months apart show the direction things are moving, not just how the roof looks today.
Prices
Standard house — £225
Two to four bedrooms, conventional pitched roof, single building. Most terraced, semi-detached and detached homes fall here.
Larger or complex — £315
Extensions, outbuildings, multiple roof levels, dormers and valleys, or larger detached properties.
Commercial and flat roofs — from £445
Blocks of flats, industrial units, commercial premises and larger flat roofs. Priced after we see the address.
Second flight over the same roof — 20% off. After repairs, or a year later. We fly the same saved route, so the two sets of images line up frame for frame and the difference speaks for itself — useful before you agree a quote, and useful again when the work is done.
Travel is included within 15 miles of Harold Wood. Fifteen to thirty miles adds £50; beyond that we quote before booking. Congestion and clean air charges are passed on at cost with the receipt, and we tell you the figure before you commit. We are not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Worth saying plainly
We photograph what can be seen from the air and describe it honestly. This is not a structural survey and we are not surveyors. We do not lift tiles, go into the loft, or tell you that a roof is sound or unsafe — that judgement belongs to a chartered surveyor or a roofer standing on it. What we give you is a clear, complete set of images and notes so that whoever makes that judgement is not guessing, and so you are not paying for scaffolding to find out whether there is a problem at all.
Flying depends on wind, rain and airspace. If conditions on the day are not safe or the location is restricted, we say so and rebook — and you are not charged for a visit we could not complete.

Most inspections take under an hour on site. You do not need to be there, as long as we can reach the property.
3. We fly
Take-off from your own land or a safe spot nearby, systematic coverage of every elevation and detail.
4. Report in 24–48 hours
PDF report plus the full-resolution images, by email or a download link.
What the drone sees
A short clip from a real inspection: flat and pitched roofs, gutters and the areas a ladder never reaches.
